      Shot on location in Alabama, Big Fish is based on the book Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions by Daniel Wallace. Tim Burton (Batman, Sleepy Hollow) is directing the film. The cast includes Albery Finney, Jessica Lange, Ewan McGregor, Alison Lohman, and Billy Crudup. Big Fish deals with William Bloom's attempt to understand his dying father through the tall tales of the elder Bloom's colorful life. Columbia Pictures is looking for a Holiday 2003 release.
